Saturday 23rd October 1010 will see a special concert celebrating the launch of new group Alabama Chrome – multi-instrumental band playing blues, hillbilly and swing, featuring Chris Chambers on dobro and guitar.
Alabama Chrome will launch at the Hinckley ACT in Leicestershire in October 2010
Alabama Chrome are a five piece band from Derby. They describe themselves as follows:
“We perform a lively and exciting mix of Folk, Country, Bluegrass, Rockabilly, and Skiffle. And we toss in a few of our own originals too.
“Between us we play electric and acoustic guitars, mandolin, dobro, double bass, harmonica, and the cajon; and we all sing.
“We’ll give you a toe tapping good time, and send you home smiling.”
